Alphee Hachey

SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB - Alphée Hachey 97, of Saint-Louis-de-Kent passed away peacefully at the Villa Maria, Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Tuesday, April 8, 2014.  Born in Rogersville, he was the son of the late Joseph and late Leonie (Babineau) Hachey.  Before retiring, Alphée was employed as a carpenter.  He attended St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Louis-de-Kent. 

Alphée will be sadly missed by his daughter, Bernice Hachey of St. Louis; one son, Gilles Hachey (Nicole) of St. Louis; three grandchildren, Paul (Sylvie), Denis (Christina), Chantale (Réjean) and two great grandsons, Hunter and Tyler.

Alphée is also survived by three brothers, Germain (late Jeanne) of New Jersey, Rémi (Maria) of London, ON, Eric (Marie-Thérese) of Rogersville; sister-in-law, Evelyne Daigle of St. Louis and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, Eda (Fontaine) Hachey; two sisters, Lucie Gallant, Yvonne Richard and one brother, Ernest Hachey.

Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home, Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, Friday at 2:00 pm until departure for the funeral.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 11, 2014 at 4:00 pm, St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Louis-de-Kent.
