Kenneth Thompson

FORT MACLEOD, ALBERTA - Ken Thompson 54, passed away as the result of a motor vehicle accident on Sunday, June 22, 2014.  Born in Rexton, he was the son of the late George and Rita (Sock) Thompson.  Previously he had been employed at D.O.T. 

Ken is survived by his wife, Cindy Thompson; two daughters, Angela Gévaudan (late Fabrice), Melisa Thompson (Nicholas); one son, Dalton Thompson and three grandchildren, Emma, Katelyn and Abbygail. 

He is also survived by five sisters, Bernice Thompson, Linda Thompson (late Wally), Valerie Robichaud (Thomas), Jerile Garret, Moriah LeBlanc (Patrick); six brothers, Glen Thompson (Tina), Vernon Thompson, Mike Thompson (Rhonda), Jeffrey Thompson, Lorne Thompson, Wayne Thompson (Amy) and several nieces and nephews. 

He was predeceased by two brothers, Melvin and Nelson. 

Visitation will be held at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto on Wednesday from 1:00 - 3:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Thursday from 10:00 am until time of funeral.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 11:00 am, Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Rexton.  Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
