Roger Richard

REXTON, NB- Roger Richard 64, passed away peacefully at his home in Bells Mills on Thursday, September 4, 2014 surrounded by his family. Born in  Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late William and late Flora (Allain) Richard. Before retiring, Roger was employed as the Post Master of Rexton for 25 years.

Roger will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 42 years, Yvonne (Robichaud) Richard of Bells Mills, two daughters, Kim Poirier (Stephane) of Ste. Anne-de-Kent, Melanie Ferguson (Brett) of Calgary; one son, Chris Richard (Sandra) of Rexton and four grandchildren, Danika, Chloe, Sophie and Simon.

He is also survived by two sisters, Irene Mazerolle (Adelard) of Richibucto, Loretta Richard of Rexton; three brothers, Armand Richard (Daphne) of Rexton, Andrew Richard of Rexton, Frank Richard of Dorchester; sisters-in-law, Christina Richard of Wasaga Beach, ON, Muriellle Glencross (Barry) of Rexton and several nieces and nephews.

Roger was predeceased by two brothers, Bernard and Gerard.

Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Monday, September 8th from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00 -7:00 pm. There will be a Celebration of Roger's Life at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Donations in Roger's memory may be made to  Myeloma Canada or donors choice and would be appreciated by the family.
