Louise Arsenault

RICHIBOUCTOU-VILLAGE, NB - At the Stella Maris Hospital, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent on Thursday, October 30, 2014 passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, Louise Arsenault at the age of 91 and 8 months.  Born in Richibouctou-Village on February 13, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Charles Babineau and late Catherine (Daigle) Babineau.  She was presently living at the Foyer Bois Joli, Saint-Louis-de-Kent. 

Louise will be deeply missed by her three daughters, Jeannette Vautour of Dieppe, Odette Arsenault of Richibucto, Hélène (Elmo) LeBlanc of Ste-Anne-de-Kent; three sons, Émile (Edna) of Ste-Anne-de-Kent, Albert (Lucille) of Saint-Louis-de-Kent, Alvin (Annette) of Richibouctou-Village; eight grandchildren, Carole, Parise, Yves, Serge, Eric, Mathieu, Angèle, Michelle, six great grandchildren, Alexandre, Olivier, Antoine, Claire, Clément, Maxim and many nephews and nieces.  She is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Helen Babineau of Minto and Geneva Babineau of Richibouctou-Village. 

Louise was predeceased by her parents, her husband Eymard (2009); daughter Carmen (1999); grandchild Marie (1979); two sisters, Julie LeBlanc and Emilia Roach; four brothers, René, Jacques, Onézime and Raymond and two half sisters, Lina LeBlanc and Marguerite Richard. 

Before retiring, Louise was a co-owner of a restaurant/store in Richibouctou-Village and she worked for several years in fish factories. 

Resting at the Saint-Antoine-de-Padoue Roman Catholic Church, Richibouctou-Village with visitation on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, Monday at 2:00 pm until time of the funeral.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 3, 2014 at 4:00pm Saint-Antoine-de-Padoue Roman Catholic Church.  Burial will be the parish cemetery. 

Donations in Louise's memory may be made to the Stella Maris Hospital Palliative Care Unit, Saint-Antoine-de-Padoue Roman Catholic Cemetery or charity of the donor's choice and would be appreciated by the family.
