Edna Fahey

BEERSVILLE, NB - Edna Fahey 90, of Beersville passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at the Moncton Residence on Monday, December 1, 2014.  Born in Beersville, she was the daughter of the late Harry Spencer and Blanche (Beers) Spencer.  She always loved to knit for family and friends and prepare meals for all who visited with her at her home. 

Edna will be sadly missed by her daughter, Anne Ferguson (Tony) of Moncton; four sons, Wayne (Cheryl) of McKees Mills, Michael (Wendy) of McKees Mills, Jim (Nicole) of Kay Road, St. Antoine, Rodney (Darlene) of Beersville; ten grandchildren, Nick, Shannon, Josh, Kevin, Ernest, Ashley, Emily, Colleen, Krista, Melanie and eleven great grandchildren. 

She is also survived by daughter-in-law, Annette Fahey of Moncton. 

She was predeceased by her husband, Oswald Fahey; one son, Raymond (late Holly), great grandson, Devin; one sister, Myrtle and one brother, Gerald. 

Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Wednesday from 7-9 pm, Thursday at 1:00 pm until time of the funeral.  A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 2:00 pm, Thompson's Funeral Home Chapel, Richibucto officiated by Winston Parks.  Donations in Edna's memory may be made to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation or St. James Presbyterian Cemetery and would be appreciated by the family.  The family wish to extend a special thanks to Iva Ward, Sharon Wilson, Verna Forbes and Marlene Beaver , the staff at the Moncton City Hospital 5200 Ward and the staff at the Moncton Residence for their kind and compassionate care of Edna.
