Delima  Duplessis

BOUCTOUCHE BAIE, NB -Délima Duplessis 75, of Bouctouche Baie passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital, Moncton on Tuesday, February 17, 2015.  Born in Saint-Louis-de-Kent, she was the daughter of the late Jacques Fontaine and late Délima (Doucet) Fontaine.  Before retiring, Délima was employed as a cook for the Canadian Armed Forces in several different locations for many years.  She loved to play bingo in her spare time. 

Délima will be sadly missed by her husband, Elias Duplessis of Bouctouche Baie; two daughters, Corinna Maillet (Arno) of Rusagonis, Solange Duplessis (Pierre) of Saint-Louis-de-Kent; three grandchildren, Jenny, Gabrielle, Josée and two great grandchildren, Thomas and Abigail. 

She is also survived by two sisters, Alice Robichaud (Paul) of Richibucto, Jeanne Arsenault (Raymond) of Saint-Louis-de-Kent; two brothers, Arcade Fontaine (late Vénolia) of Moncton, Conrad Fontaine (late Germaine) of Richibucto and several nieces and nephews. 

She was predeceased by one granddaughter, Brigitte; siblings,

Alcide, Euclide, Hubert, Jacques, Henry, Emma, Domine, Elvina as well as several other siblings. 

Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, Saint-Louis-de-Kent with visitation on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm, Friday at 10:30 am until departure for the funeral.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 12:30 pm, St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Louis-de-Kent.  Donations in Délima's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the I.W.K. Children's Hospital and would be appreciated by the family.  Arrangements are in care of Thompson`s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
