Maria Richard Maria Richard

SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB - Maria Richard 83, of Saint-Louis-de-Kent passed away peacefully at the Villa Maria, Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Friday, February 27, 2015.  Born in Acadieville, she was the daughter of the late Jean-Baptiste Thébeau and late Anna (Bourque) Thébeau.  She attended St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church in Saint-Louis-de-Kent and volunteered her time preparing luncheons after funerals for her parish.  Maria was a very good mother and grandmother. 

Maria will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 55 years, Jean-Baptiste Richard of Saint-Louis-de-Kent; two daughters, Paulette Allison (Roland) of Dieppe, Lucille Robichaud (Jean-Pierre) of Saint-Louis-de-Kent; one son, Réjean Richard of Shediac Cape; six grandchildren, Chantal & Rachelle Richard, Michelle & Catherine Allison, Marilyne & Gabrielle Robichaud. 

She is also survived by two sisters, Léona Evans-Thériault (Daniel) of Fredericton, Aline Roach (late Ernest) of Gardner, MASS and many nieces and nephews. 

She was predeceased by her parents and one brother, Hypolite Thébeau (Zita). 

Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, Saint-Louis-de-Kent with visitation on Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Monday at 9:00 am until departure for the funeral.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 2, 2015 at 11:00 am, St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Louis-de-Kent.  Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.  Donations in Maria's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society and would be appreciated by the family.  Special thank you to Dr. André Boucher and the staff at the Villa Maria for all their support and compassionate care of Maria.
