9SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB- It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Georgette Ferland-Babin at her home on Tuesday, March 3, 2015. Born in Ste. Anne-de-Kent, she was the daughter of the late Yvon Mazerolle and Celine Robichaud.
She will be sadly missed by her husband, Brad Babin; daughter, Janelle Babin; son, Samuel Babin; two sisters, Huguette Ferland-Babin (Donald) of Saint Charles, Annick Pinette (Scott) of Moncton; five brothers, Denis Ferland (Claudette) of Pointe à la croix, Quebec, Ronald Ferland (Lisa) of Chesterville, Ontario, Jean-Marc Ferland of Dieppe, Jean Belmont of Moncton and several nieces and nephews.
Georgette was predeceased by her father, Yvon and one brother, Marc Nathaniel Ferland.
Resting at Thompson Memorial Home in Saint-Louis-de-Kent with visitation beginning on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and Monday from 9:00 am until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 9, 2015 at 11:00 am. Saint Louis des Français Roman Catholic , Saint-Louis-de-Kent. In lieu of flowers donations in Georgette's memory may be made to the family. Interment will be held later in the spring. Arrangements are in care of Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
