Marguerite Thibodeau

RICHIBOUCTOU-VILLAGE, NB - Marguerite Thibodeau 93,of Richibouctou-Village, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne-de-Kent on Sunday, March 8, 2015.  Born in Richibouctou-Village, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas Thibodeau and late Alma (Maillet) Thibodeau.  Before retiring, Marguerite was employed at the Richibucto Cape Lobster Shop for many years.  She was a member of the Golden Age Club.  She loved to garden, cook and knit in her spare time. She attended St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church in Richibouctou-Village. 

Marguerite will be sadly missed by her sister, Olive Nowlan of Bouctouche and her seventeen nieces and nephews which she adored. 

She was predeceased by three brothers, Germain, Emile, Alphonse and one niece, Emma. 

Resting at St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Richibouctou-Village with visitation on Tuesday from 7-9 pm, Wednesday at 2:00 pm until time of the funeral.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 4:00 pm, St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church, Richibouctou-Village.  Interment will be in the parish cemetery at later date.  Donations in Marguerite's memory may be made to St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church and would be appreciated by the family. 

Special thank you to the staff at Foyer Jean Marie Allain and at Stella Maris  Hospital for their care of Marguerite. Also, thank you to Father Michel Mercier and the staff at Thompson's Funeral Home. Arrangements are in care of Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
