Rowena (Cail) Budd
1938-2015
FORD BANK, NB - Rowena Budd 76, of Ford Bank passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent on Friday, May 8, 2015. Born in Ford Bank, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Cail and late Alvina (Ells) Cail. In her younger years, Rowena served in the military for a brief time, she was a member of the Tails & Trails Horse Club and the Brown's Yard Ladies Auxiliary. She worked for many years in customer service.
Rowena will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Alvina "Allie" Budd and Tammy Evers (Ernie); one son, Pride Budd, six grandchildren, Marcel, Jessica, Courtney, Mikhala, Vanessa and Jenny.
She is also survived by one sister, Carolyn Poulin (Raymond) and four brothers, Lester (Carol), Russell (late Marie), Raymond (Anne), Milton (Janice) and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Clifford Budd.
Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Monday evening from 6-8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 2:00 pm, St. Paul's Anglican Church, Brown's Yard. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Donations in Rowena's memory may be made to the Oncology Unit at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Centre. Arrangements are in care of Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
