Emile J. Savoie
1923-2015
SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB - Emile J. Savoie, 92, of Saint- Louis-de-Kent passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne-de-Kent on June 12, 2015. Born May 7, 1923 in Saint-Louis-de-Kent, he was the son of the late Exupère and Marie Louise (Babineau) Savoie. Emile was a Veteran of World War II and was a carpenter by trade.
He will be sadly missed by his daughter Louise A Boucher (Hector) of Lancaster MA; his son Donald Savoie of St-Louis, four grandchildren, Darren Boucher (Kristina Kastner), Dean Boucher (Melissa DiCandia), Denis Savoie, Julien Savoie (Claudine Blanchard); four great grandchildren, Dominique Boucher, Koryn Boucher, Kristina Coleman and Gavin Boucher; one great great granddaughter, Aubree.
He is also survived by one sister, Rita Daigle (late Belonie) of Gardner MA, two sisters-in-law, Dorina Richard of Saint-Louis-de-Kent, Marie-Louise Richard of Saint-Charles and several nieces and nephews.
Emile was predeceased by his wife, Flora Savoie; six brothers, Alyre, Joseph, Aurel, Ernest (Leona), Rufin, Arthur; two sisters, Marie Gaudet (Lawrence) and Catherine Duval (Marcel).
Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, Saint-Louis-de-Kent with visitation on Monday from 7-9 pm, Tuesday at 9:00 am until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 11:00 am, St. Louis des Francais Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Louis-de-Kent. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
