Aurore Poirier

RICHIBUCTO, NB - Aurore Poirier 86, passed away peacefully at the Villa Maria, Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Monday, July 20, 2015.  Born in St. Charles, NB she was the daughter of the late Henri Robichaud and Anna (Robichaud) Robichaud.  She attended St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church in Richibucto and was a member of the Richibucto Golden Age Club. 

Aurore will be sadly missed by her five daughters, Claudette Richard (Ulysse), Denise Kavanagh (Fabien), Muriel Glencross (Barry), Marie-Josée Lopez (Emery), Huberte Robichaud (Gilles); eleven grandchildren, Jill, Sophie, Sean, Josette, Marie-Paule, Chad, Roxanne, Justin, Kieren, Mathieu, Danika and many great grandchildren. 

She is also survived by one sister, Marie Babineau (Hervé); four brothers, Eugène (Andréa), Charles (Thérèse), Louis (Maria), Jean-Emile (Aline) and many nieces and nephews. 

She was predeceased by her husband, Dosithé; one daughter, Cécile, infant twins, André and Andréa; two sisters, Marguerite-Anne, Catherine; one brother, Rémi. 

Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, Thursday at 9:00 am until departure for the funeral.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 11:00 am, St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto.  Interment will be in the Aldouane Roman Catholic Cemetery.  Donations in Aurore's memory may be made to the New Brunswick Lung Association.  Arrangements are in care of Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
