Joachim Chevarie

ROGERSVILLE, NB – Joachim Chevarie, 92, passed away peacefully at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Tuesday, August 29, 2017. Born in Kent Junction, he was the son of the late Joseph and Elise (Richard) Chevarie. Before retiring, Joachim work as a woodsman and a carpenter.

Joachim will be sadly missed by his sister, Dorina Cormier (Leo) of Rogersville; two brothers, Léonide and Lionel, both of Quebec; as well as by several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Joachim is predeceased by five sisters, Loretta Blanchard, Leah Whalen, Nazarine Beck, Alida Richard and Florida Blanchard; and five brothers, Laurie, Alcide, Narcisse, Donat and René, who passed away at 11 months old.

Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto, on Friday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00pm and Saturday from 9:00am until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, September 2^nd, 2017 at 11:00am, St-Louis-de-Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto.
