ELSIPOGTOG, NB – Charles Polchies 34, of Elsipogtog passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Center in Moncton on Saturday, December 22, 2018.  Born in Wolf Point, Montana he was the son of Cyril Polchies and Donita (Brown) King.  

Charles will be sadly missed by his mother, Donita King (late Bill) of Montana; his father, Cyril Polchies (Laverne) of Elsipogtog; maternal grandmother, Beverly Buckley of Monana; common law wife, Erica Augustine of Elsipogtog; one daughter, Triston of Elsipogtog and one son, Henry of Elsipogtog.

He is also survived by three sisters, Amanda Polchies (Chad) of Elsipogtog, Lindsay Polchies of Montana, Jade Ackerman (Kody) of Browning, Montana; three brothers, Josh Brooks (Jennifer) of Eskasoni, Sam Birdtail (Natasha), Cole Akerman both Montana and many nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be held at 79 Echo Drive, Elsipogtog on Thursday beginning at 2:00 pm until time of the funeral.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 10:30 am, St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, Elsipogtog.  Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
