Fred Beers

MUNDLEVILLE, NB – Fred Beers 74, of Mundleville passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Center in Moncton on Tuesday, April 9, 2019.  Born in Ford Bank, he was the son of the late Stanley Beers and late Mildred (Reid) Beers.  Before retiring, Fred was employed as a heavy equipment mechanic and an owner/operator.  He was a volunteer firefighter. 

Fred will be sadly missed by his wife, Janet (Spahn) Beers of Mundleville; Stacie Smith of Maine whom was like a daugter; one son, Timmy Beers of New Hampshire; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. 

He is also survived by four brothers, Richard Beers (Joan), Gene Beers (Dawn) both of MASS, Wayne Beers (Brenda) of Ford Bank, Lowell Beers of Emerson and many nieces and nephews. 

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Irene, Mable and five brothers, Terry, Albert, Lewis, Philip and Kenneth.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.  A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 3:00 pm, St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Browns Yard.  Interment will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery in Browns Yard at a later date.  Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
