Elsipogtog, NB – Freda Francis, 77, of Elsipogtog passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, January 20, 2020. Born in Rexton, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Sarah (Ward) Sanipass.

Freda will be survived and sadly missed by her husband Edward (Jim) Francis; her daughters, Angeline (Ivan) Levi of Elsipogtog, Deborah Lagasse of Elsipogtog and Lana Francis of Elsipogtog; her son Ernest (Randi) Lagasse of Elsipogtog; her sister, Marie (Raymond) Sanipass of Elsipogtog; her step daughters, Nora (Simon) Ward-Osmond of Rexton, Mona Francis of Elsipogtog, Angela (Joseph) Sanipass of Elsipogtog, Audrey (Curtis) Francis of Elsipogtog, Violet Levi of Red Bank, Rhoda (Brian) Levi of Red Bank and Jaime Levi of Red Bank as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Besides her parents, Freda was predeceased by her daughters, Matilda Sanipass and Valerie Sanipass; her sister, Margaret Dedam as well as her brothers, David Sanipass and Michael Sanipass.

Visitation will be held at 71 Bridge Road, Elsipogtog, NB on Thursday beginning at 2:00pm until departure for the funeral. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 10:30am, St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, Elsipogtog. Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
