Elmo Robichaud

RICHIBUCTO, NB – Elmo Robichaud 89, of Richibucto passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at the Villa Maria in Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Tuesday, July 27, 2021.  Born in Rexton, he was the son of the late Lazare Robichaud and late Regina (Lovejoy) Robichaud.  Before retiring, Elmo was employed as a pulp truck driver, he was second deck hand on a pulp boat, a taxi driver, bartender at La Coquille and lastly at Malpec Peat Moss. 

Elmo will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 68 years, Eliza (Thebeau) Robichaud of Richibucto; four daughters, Rina Arsenault (Delphis) of Richibucto, Rachelle Robichaud (Mitch) of St. Antoine, Michelle Robichaud (BooBoo) of Richibucto, Tina Robichaud (Benoit) of Shediac; one son, Elmo Jr. Robichaud (Lise) of Dieppe; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

Elmo was the last surviving member of his immediate family, besides his parents, he was predeceased by one son, Lazare and seven brothers. 

Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home in Richibucto on Tuesday beginning at 10:00 am until time of the funeral.  A celebration of Elmo’s life will be held on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 12:00 pm at Thompson’s Funeral Home Chapel in Richibucto.
