Gilles Yves Manuel

BAIE-SAINTE-ANNE, NB - It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Gilles Yves Manuel on Saturday, August 28th, 2021 at the age of 52. Born in Chatham, he was the son of the late Julien Manuel and Elzéa (Savoie) Manuel. Gilles worked for the Public Service Pay Centre and he was also the president of "La Société Culturelle de Baie-Sainte-Anne".
Gilles will be sadly missed by his mother, Elzéa Manuel (Adrien); his sister, Ginette (Joël); his brother, Bruno; his maternal grandmother, Jeanne Savoie; his niece Chanel and nephew, Mikaël, all of Baie-Ste-Anne; as well as by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Besides his father, Gilles was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Grégoire; his paternal grandparents, Anthime and Viola; his uncles, Yves, Carl and François; as well as by his aunts, Sharon and Donalda.
Visitation will be held at the Soeur Blandine Martin Slumber room, located in the basement of Ste-Anne Church in Baie-Ste-Anne on Friday from 7-9 pm and Saturday from noon until time of the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 4th, 2021 at 2:00 pm, Ste-Anne Roman Catholic Church, Baie-Ste-Anne.
