POINTE-SAPIN, NB – Beatrice Mazerolle 78, of Pointe-Sapin passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital in Ste-Anne-de-Kent on Monday, October 11, 2021. Born in Pointe-Sapin, she was the daughter of the late Arcade Mazerolle and late Elise (Daigle) Mazerolle. Before retiring, she was a home care worker. She was a member of the Golden Age Club in Pointe-Sapin.
Beatrice will be sadly missed by her three sisters, Hélène Mazerolle of Pointe-Sapin, Claudine Doucet (Oswald) of Pointe-Sapin, Gisèle Maillet (late Alphonse) of Moncton; two brothers, Evariste Mazerolle (Aline) of Pointe-Sapin, Jean-François Mazerolle (Gaëtanne) of Pointe-Sapin; sisters-in-law, Amanda Mazerolle, Francine Mazerolle both of Pointe-Sapin and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters, Bernadette Daigle, Marie-Louise Roy and three brothers, Réjean Mazerolle, Gonzague Mazerolle and infant Joseph.
There will be no visitation. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at 2:00 pm at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Pointe-Sapin. In lieu of flowers, donations in Beatrice’s memory may be made to St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Tree of Hope or Palliative Care at the Stella Maris Hospital. The family would like to thank the staff at the Stella Maris Hospital, Extra Mural and Dr. Sirois and Cyr for all their kind and compassionate care of Beatrice.
Following provincial COVID-19 regulations, visitors will be required to provide proof of double COVID-19 vaccination and government issued ID at the Funeral Mass, masks are mandatory and we ask that social distancing is respected.
