S. Stella Roach, CND (S.S. CAMILLE-DU-SAUVEUR)
At l’Accueil Marguerite-Bourgeoys, Quebec City, QC, on October 23, 2021, at the age of 93, which 72 years and 1 month of this time was part of her religious life at the Congregation of Notre-Dame, passed away Sister Stella Roach. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Roach and the late Domithilde Richard of Saint-Jean L’Évangéliste parish.
Besides the members of her community, including the associates of the CND, Sister Stella is survived by her sisters: Suzanne (late Éric Simmonds), Jeanne, CND and Alfreda (Roger Comeau); her brother Camil (Alice Babin); as well as several nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces and cousins.
Sister Stella went to join her sister Dorilla (late Gérard Richard) and her brothers: Robert (Stella Hunt), Oscar (late Jeannine Maillet), Émile and Ernest (Aline Thébeau) in the Father's house.
The religious service will be celebrated on Thursday, November 4th at 4 p.m., Saint-Louis-des-Français Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Louis-de-Kent, New Brunswick. Viewing for Sister Stella Roach will take place at Thompson’s Memorial Home, 148, chemin Saint-Ignace, Saint-Louis-de-Kent, on Wednesday, November 3rd, 2021 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday, November 4th, 2021 from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The sisters of the CND, family and friends will receive condolences.
The sisters wish to sincerely thank the priests serving l’Accueil Marguerite-Bourgeoys for their diligence in offering the daily Eucharist, the staff of the auxiliary services as well as the nursing staff for the quality of respect showed to Sister Stella and the very good care that was given with affection and tenderness.
Following provincial COVID-19 regulations, visitors will be required to provide proof of double COVID-19 vaccination and government issued ID at the funeral home and church, masks are mandatory and we ask that social distancing is respected.
