Edna M. Palmer (UPDATED)

RIVERVIEW, NB – Edna M. Palmer, 98, passed away peacefully at her residence, Monarch Hall, Riverview on Thursday, May 12th, 2022. Born in West Branch, she was the daughter of the late Smith and May (MacLeod) Morton. Edna worked as a part-time ER nurse until her retirement at the age of 65. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and worked with her.

Edna leaves to mourn her daughter, Penny M. Hove (Rhico); her son, Herbert "Mike" Palmer (Julie); as well as her grand children, Hilary (Nico), Suzan (Dustin), Patrick, Jared (Ashley), Ashley (Trevor) and two great grand children, Ella and Alathia.

Edna will also be sadly missed by her many loving nieces and nephews.

Last surviving member of her immediate family, besides her parents, Edna was predeceased by her loving husband, Herbert "Bud" Palmer in August of 1988, as well as by her eleven siblings.

The family wishes to express much appreciation for the loving care Edna received from Julie and Mike, her physician, Dr. Telford, as well as from the entire staff and residents of Monarch and Canterbury Hall. We are grateful to all the family and friends who have helped out at this difficult time.

As per Edna’s wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral home.  A committal service will be held on Wednedsay, July 27, 2022 at 11:00 am at St. John's United Cemetery in West Branch followed by a "Celebration of Life" at the McKees Mills Community Hall (5204 Route 115, McKees Mills) from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.
