Sylvio Allain

RICHIBOUCTOU-VILLAGE, NB – Sylvio Allain, 78, of Richibouctou-Village passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 9^th, 2022 at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent. Born in Bedec, he was the son of the late Donat and Eva (Hebert) Allain. Before retiring, Sylvio was a fisherman. He was also a member of the Sainte-Anne-de-Kent Golden Age Club.

Sylvio leaves to mourn his loving wife, Elda (LeBlanc) Allain; his two sons, Daniel Allain (Laverne) and Mike Allain (Rachel), both of Richibouctou-Village; as well as his three grandchildren, Mathieu, Emmah-Louise and Anthony and his great-grandson, Jimmy.

Sylvio will also be missed by his three sisters, Rosella Richard (Nazaire), Lynda Allain (Raymond Thibodeau), both of Richibouctou-Village and Rosa Allain of Richibucto; as well as by his many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Sylvio was predeceased by his two sisters, Christine and Bertha; two brothers, Armand and Albert; and also by his two infant brothers, Zoel and Gerald.

Visitation will be held at the Saint-Antoine-de-Padoue Slumber Room, Richibouctou-Village on Thursday, August 11^th, 2022 from 5:00 pm until time of service. The funeral service will be celebrated Thursday, August 11^th, 2022 at 7:00 pm, Saint-Antoine-de-Padoue Roman Catholic Church, Richibouctou-Village.
