DIEPPE, NB – Bernard Ouellet, 79, of Dieppe passed
away peacefully at home on Monday, September
19th, 2022. Born in Kent Lake, he was the son
of the late Emilien and Emilie (Richard) Ouellet. Before retiring,
Bernard worked as a construction laborer for Menuiserie Daigle in St.
Charles as well as janitorial work for the community
college.
Bernard leaves to mourn his loving wife, Irene (Robichaud)
Ouellet of Dieppe; his two daughters, Nicole Richard (Roger) of Dieppe
and Gisele Schaus (Mike) of Yarmouth, NS; as well as his four
grandchildren, Christian, Dominique, Micha and Jasmine.
Bernard will also be sadly missed by his sister, Marie-Celine
Thebeau (Alfred) of Irishtown; his four brothers, Francis Ouellet
(Elsie) of Moncton, Augustin Ouellet (Yvonne) of Irishtown, Gerard
Ouellet (Jackie) of Saint-Charles and Raymond-Guy Ouellet (Norma) of
Kent Lake; his two brothers-in-law, Alcyme Chevarie of Kent Lake and
Dolphe Chevarie of the US; his sister-in-law, Lois Ouellet of Dieppe;
as well as by his many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Bernard was predeceased by two sisters,
Angele Chevarie and Bernice Chevarie; and by his brother, Alphonse
Ouellet.
Visitation will be held at Thompson Funeral Home, Richibucto
Monday from 7-9 pm and Tuesday from 9:00 am until departure for the
funeral. The funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday, September
27th, 2022 at 11:00 am,
Saint-Charles-Borromée Roman Catholic Church,
Saint-Charles.
