Deborah Ann Fearon
1952-2022
It is with profound sadness and extremely heavy hearts the
family announces the passing of Deborah (Debbie) Ann Fearon
(Verbiski), 70 years old, of Bass River, New Brunswick. Debbie passed
away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Moncton City Hospital
on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, following a courageous and
warrior-like battle with an extremely aggressive form of cancer.
Born in Miramichi, Debbie was the daughter of the
late Francis and Veronica Verbiski (MacCullum). Besides her parents,
Debbie is predeceased by her beloved husband William Fearon of Bass
River. Debbie is survived by her 5 children, Stacey Flanagan (Logan)
of Moncton, Tania Fearon (Marc) of Bass River, Wanda Rasmussen
(Thomas) of Moncton, Kayla Robichaud (Adam) of Bass River and Brent
Fearon of Edmonton. Debbie was the best Nan to 5 adored grandchildren
who she loved very much, Sawyer and Haley Flanagan of Moncton, Mya and
Nate Rasmussen of Moncton, and Willow Robichaud of Bass River.
Besides her children and grandchildren Debbie was
survived by a very special sister-in-law and best friend, Diane
Fearon-Babineau of Richibucto, mother-in-law, Rhea Fearon (Warman) of
Bass River, brothers-in-law, Albert Fearon, James Fearon, Paul Fearon
and Joey Fearon; sisters-in-law, Heather Fearon, and Linda (Carl)
Downing. Debbie is also survived by a special friend, Jack Robinson,
of Beersville, NB.
Debbie was employed with
Canada Post for 30 years, prior to this she was a licensed practical
nurse at the Moncton Hospital. She enjoyed socializing, dancing, and
most of all helping others. She was a woman of strong faith and was of
the belief that God had a plan for each of us. John 11:25-26 Jesus
said to her "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who
believes in me will live, even though they die"
Debbie was blessed with healthcare professionals who she
continued to thank until the very end of her life. A special thank you
to her team of physicians Dr. Despres, Dr. Samad, Dr. Azim, Dr. Fawaz,
and Dr. Crozier, your efforts, kindness, and genuine desire to help
Debbie will never be forgotten by her family.
You are not forgotten loved one, nor will you ever be, as
long as life and memory last, we will forever remember thee, may you
rest in peace. Always remembered, never
forgotten.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home in Richibucto on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 (ONLY). A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 5, 2022 at 2:00 pm at St. Stephen’s United Church in Molus River. A reception will follow the service at the Bass River Hall. In lieu of flowers donations in Debbie's memory may be made to St. Stephen's United Church. Interment will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022 at 2:00 pm at St. Stephen’s United Cemetery.
