Deborah Ann Fearon

1952-2022

Deborah Ann Fearon

It is with profound sadness and extremely heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Deborah (Debbie) Ann Fearon (Verbiski), 70 years old, of Bass River, New Brunswick. Debbie passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Moncton City Hospital on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, following a courageous and warrior-like battle with an extremely aggressive form of cancer.

Born in Miramichi, Debbie was the daughter of the late Francis and Veronica Verbiski (MacCullum). Besides her parents, Debbie is predeceased by her beloved husband William Fearon of Bass River. Debbie is survived by her 5 children, Stacey Flanagan (Logan) of Moncton, Tania Fearon (Marc) of Bass River, Wanda Rasmussen (Thomas) of Moncton, Kayla Robichaud (Adam) of Bass River and Brent Fearon of Edmonton. Debbie was the best Nan to 5 adored grandchildren who she loved very much, Sawyer and Haley Flanagan of Moncton, Mya and Nate Rasmussen of Moncton, and Willow Robichaud of Bass River.

Besides her children and grandchildren Debbie was survived by a very special sister-in-law and best friend, Diane Fearon-Babineau of Richibucto, mother-in-law, Rhea Fearon (Warman) of Bass River, brothers-in-law, Albert Fearon, James Fearon, Paul Fearon and Joey Fearon; sisters-in-law, Heather Fearon, and Linda (Carl) Downing. Debbie is also survived by a special friend, Jack Robinson, of Beersville, NB.

Debbie was employed with Canada Post for 30 years, prior to this she was a licensed practical nurse at the Moncton Hospital. She enjoyed socializing, dancing, and most of all helping others. She was a woman of strong faith and was of the belief that God had a plan for each of us. John 11:25-26 Jesus said to her "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die"

Debbie was blessed with healthcare professionals who she continued to thank until the very end of her life. A special thank you to her team of physicians Dr. Despres, Dr. Samad, Dr. Azim, Dr. Fawaz, and Dr. Crozier, your efforts, kindness, and genuine desire to help Debbie will never be forgotten by her family.

You are not forgotten loved one, nor will you ever be, as long as life and memory last, we will forever remember thee, may you rest in peace. Always remembered, never forgotten.
