CAP-SAINT-LOUIS, NB – Viola Vautour, 88, of Cap-Saint-Louis passed away peacefully at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, on Wednesday, February 1^st, 2023. Born in Cap-Saint-Louis, she was the daughter of the late Benoit and Eleonore (Doucet) Vautour.

Viola leaves to mourn her two daughters, Anne Vautour (Alyre) of Cap-Saint-Louis and Nancy Leger (Aldège) of Dieppe; her son, Serge Vautour (Délia) of Aldouane; as well as her four grandchildren, Christine, Jérémie, Shane and Cynthia and five great grandchildren, Hudson, Charlie, Maleke, Esmay and Sofie.

Viola will also be sadly missed by her four sisters, Ethel Maillet (late Armand), Marie Hebert (late Zenon), Carmen Bell (Ronald), all of Cap-Saint-Louis and Stella Vautour (late Roger) of Aldouane; her brother, Clorice Vautour (late Geraldine) of Cap-Saint-Louis; her two sisters-in-law, Diana Vautour of Cap-Saint-Louis and Laurianne Vautour of Saint-Louis-de-Kent; as well as by her many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Viola was predeceased by her loving husband, Jim Vautour; her four brothers, Yvon, Elide, Claude and Oscar; and her sister, Doris.

Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home, Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Friday, February 10^th, 2023 from 2:00 pm until departure for the funeral. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 10^th, 2023 at 4:00 pm, Saint-Louis-des-Français Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Louis-de-Kent.  Donations in Viola's memory may be made to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation.  The family wish to sincerely thank Dr. Michelle LeBlanc, Dr. Melanie Allain and the nursing staff at the Stella Maris Hospital, emergency department and palliative care for their kind and compassionate care of Viola.
