Frank "Jumbo" Fraser
1935-2023
RICHIBUCTO, NB – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frank "Jumbo" Fraser, 88, of Dieppe, on November 10th, 2023 at the Moncton City Hospital. Born in Rexton, he was the son of the late Mary Ann Roy.
Frank spent over 50 years behind the wheel of his transport as a dedicated truck driver. When he wasn’t on the road, he loved telling stories about his experiences and "the good ole days". His love for humor created cherished memories that will last forever.
The last surviving member of his immediate family; Frank will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 70 years, Marie (Hudson) Fraser of Dieppe; his daughter Barbara Fraser LeBlanc (Wayne) of Florida; his son, Bill Fraser (Charlene) of Florida; his grandchildren, Kristen (Cedric), Jason, Megan (Ian), Melissa; and his seven great grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Margaret, Anna and three bothers, Donald "Duck", Bob and William "Gus".
As per Frank’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral. Burial will be held on Friday, November 17th, 2023, at 2:00 pm, at the St. Peters Catholic Church in South Branch.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Moncton City Hospital and Extra Mural for their compassionate care given to Frank.
