BAIE-STE-ANNE, NB – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Jeanne (Thériault) Savoie of Baie-Ste-Anne on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at the age of 100.  She passed away peacefully at the Résidence La Belle Vie.  Jeanne began her school teaching career at the age of 16 and retired at the age of 62 years. 

Jeanne will be sadly missed by her daughter, Elzéa Manuel (Adrien) of Baie-Ste-Anne; four sons, Patrice Savoie (Brenda), Alfred Savoie (Arlene) both of Baie-Ste-Anne, Michel Savoie (Pauline) of Aldouane, Luc Savoie (Paulette) of Pointe-Sapin; thirteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. 

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Grégoire Savoie; two sons, Rodrigue, Yves; one grandson, Gilles; son-in-law, Julien; one sister, Elzéa and three brothers, Nectaire, Rodolphe and Arthur. 

Visitation will be held at Soeur Blandine Martin Slumber Room in Baie-Ste-Anne beginning on Friday, January 5, 2024 from 7:00-9:00 pm and Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 11:00 am until time of the funeral.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Église Ste. Anne in Baie-Ste-Anne. 

The family would like to express a heartfelt appeciation towards Eymard, Tracy and the entire staff of Résidence La Bell Vie for their exceptional services throughout the years.
