Nancy Gray

RICHIBUCTO, NB – It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Nancy Gray 40, of Miramichi, suddenly while vacationing in Jamaica on Sunday, September 24, 2023.  Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of Bernard Gray and Gisele (Comeau) Gray.

Nancy served for over 18 years with the Miramichi Paramedics Association of New Brunswick.  Nancy was a wonderful daughter full of life and joy with a loud laugh like no other.  She was involved a lot in the community, one that she loved the most was the Christmas Holidays Toys Drive for Kids. She had a golden heart for everyone and won her golden wings to heaven.  She will look out for her family and friends through the eyes of an eagle or butterfly.

She loved to travel and had a goal to see the 8 Wonders of the World and we did the first one; Chichen Itza in Mexico in June.  She unfortunately had fallen short on her second goal to visit the Christ Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro.  She enjoyed going to concerts, listening to music and playing the drums and guitar.  Her favorite hobby was painting.

Nancy will be sadly missed by her parents, Bernard and Gisele (Comeau) Gray of Aldouane; one brother, Kenny Gray of Bathurst; her Godfather/Uncles Claude (Chantal)  France and late Joey Comeau of Pokemousche, NB and many other uncles; Eric (Dorice), Jonathan Gyslain Comeau of Aldouane, George (Denise), Stephanie Comeau of Irishtown, Dr. Felix Savoie White of Montreal, Robert (Lucie) Gray of Irishtown, Jean-Guy (Jennifer), Joe and Chantal Gray of Cold Lake, Alberta, late uncle Denis (Jacynthe) Alban, Gabriel and Gary Gray of Moncton and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home in Richibucto on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, Tuesday beginning at 9:00 am until departure for the service.  A Celebration of Nancy’s life will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at 11:00 am at the St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church in Richibucto.
