Zita Thebeau

SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB - Zita Thebeau 87, of Saint-Louis-de-Kent passed away peacefully at the Villa Maria in Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Sunday, April 14, 2024.  Born in St. Ignace, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Vautour and late Marie (Barrieau) Vautour. 

Zita will be sadly missed by her three daughters, Odette Blanchard (Joseph) of Kouchibouguac, Nicole Hebert (Laurie) of Scoudouc, Claudine Thebeau (Ian) of Fredericton; three sons, Normand Thebeau (Claudette) of Rogersville, Guy Thebeau (Cheryl-Ann) of Acadieville, Paul Thebeau (Catherine) of Calgargy; eleven grandchildren, Melanie, Sonia, Mitchel, Christal, Renée, Lyne, Nathalie, Stéphanie, Melissa, Jessica, Travis and ten great grandchildren. 

She is also survived by one sister, Gilberte Cormier (late Armand) of Rogersville; one brother, Gérard Vautour (Geraldine) of St. Ignace; sisters-in-law, Emeliene Vautour of St. Ignance, Germaine Vautour of St. Louis, Celine Vautour of Oromocto and many nieces and nephews. 

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Hypolite; one son, Gerald; two sisters, Irène, Gemma and seven brothers, Pierre, Jacques, Louis, Yvon, Aurele, Albert and Robert. 

Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home, Saint-Louis-de Kent on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, Wednesday beginning at 9:00 am until departure for the funeral.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Acadieville. 

The family wish to express a special thank you to the staff at the Villa Maria for alll their kind and compassionate care and also to Thompson`s Funeral Home.
