André Despres
1972-2024
POINTE-SAPIN, NB - It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of André Despres of Pointe-Sapin on Saturday, April 13, 2024. Born in Chatham, he was the son of Aline Despres. André was employed as a fisherman.
He loved fishing, hunting and snowmobiling. He loved spending time with his family, his friends and especially his children and grandchildren.
André will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 33 years, Lynn Gray of Pointe-Sapin; one daughter, Jessica Despres (Yves) of Richibucto; one son, Allain Despres (Marie-Josée) of Aldouane and two grandchildren, Travis and Kayden Despres.
He is also survived by one sister, Ginette Despres (Serge) of Baie-Ste-Anne; several aunts and uncles; two nephews, Jacob, Shane and two nieces, Veronique and Chelsey.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Arcade and Dorina Despres that raised him as their own.
Visitation will be held at the Baie-Ste-Anne Roman Catholic Church, Sir Blandine Slumber Room on Wednesday from 9:00-11:00 am and 2:00 pm until time of the service. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 24, at 4:00 pm at the Baie-Ste-Anne Roman Catholic Church.
