ELSIPOGTOG, NB – Calvin Clair 57, of Elsipogtog passed away peacefully at the Rexton Lions Nursing Home in Rexton on Thursday, April 17, 2024.  Born in Rexton, he was the son of the late Louis Clair and Mary Ellen (Clement) Clair. 

Calvin will be sadly missed by his daughter, Jasmine Clair of Eskasoni.

He is also survived by five sisters, Gertie Savard of Halifax, Jacqueline Clair, Irene Clair, Sue Ann Clair, Sue Ellen Clair – all of Elsipogtog; six brothers, Gary Clair of Richibouctou-Village, Wayne Clair (Karen), Anthony Clair (Pam), Ronnie Clair (Heather) – all of Elsipogtog, Ian Clair of Mundleville and Gary Clair Jr. (Melissa) of Elsipogtog as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. 

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two infant sons; three sisters Diane, Clara, Mary Mildred; two brothers, Hubert and Joe-X.

Visitation will be held at 2 Army Street, Elsipogtog beginning on Sunday at 4:00 pm until time of the funeral.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at 10:30 at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church in Elsipogtog.
