Clara Joan Clement

ELSIPOGTOG, NB – Clara Joan Clement 83, of Elsipogtog passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Center in Moncton on Friday, May 10, 2024.  Born in Big Cove, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Clement and late Clara (Simon) Clement. 

Clara Joan will be sadly missed by her three daughters, Hazel Catherine Baxter (Rheal) of Rexton, Andrea Lynn Semper of Toronto, Joan Elizabeth Basile (Joseph) of Virginia; one son, John Peter Walsh of Elsipogtog; seven grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Jason, Brittanie, Devon, Alfredo, Valentina and four great grandchildren. 

She is also survived by one sister, Mary Catherine Clement of Elsipogtog; sister-in-law, Peggy Clement and many nieces and nephews. 

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one brother, Peter Thomas Clement. 

Visitation will be held at Thompson`s Funeral Home in Richibucto on Tuesday from 7-9 pm, Wednesday 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm (ONLY).  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday May 16, 2024 at 1:00 pm at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church in Elsipogtog.
