Alexina (Robichaud) Arsenault (UPDATED)

REXTON, NB – Alexina Arsenault 79, of Rexton passed away peacefully at the Rexton Lions Nursing Home on Sunday, August 4, 2024.  Born in Saint-Charles, she was the daughter of the late Lionel Robichaud and late Dora (Daigle) Robichaud.

Alexina was an avid fan of the outdoors; she enjoyed gardening, taking long walks and in general spending time in nature. She sincerely was happiest surrounded by family and friends, enjoying good music and good times. Always a smile on her face, she was a devoted mother, wife and friend.

Alexina will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 62 years, Robert Arsenault of Rexton; one daughter, Shirley Ouellette of Natick, MASS; one son, Norman Arsenault (Tina) of Maynard, MASS and three grandchildren, Cory, Monique and Ryan.

She is also survived by one sister, Diane Robichaud of Saint-Charles; one brother, Nigel Wilson of Bouctouche; brother-in-law, Laurie Martin of St. Louis and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one sister, Bernice Martin.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 11:00 am at the St. Charles Borromée Roman Catholic Church in Saint-Charles. There will be a luncheon following the service at the St. Charles Community Center & all is welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family.
