SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB – Paul Vautour, 70, of
Saint-Louis-de-Kent, passed away peacefully after a long battle with
stage 4 pancreatic cancer at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University
Hospital on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. Born in St. Louis,
he was the son of the late Ulysse Vautour and the late
Irène (Arsenault) Vautour.
Before retiring, Paul, a kind and gentle soul, worked at
Premier Tech, operating an excavator for over 37 years. He enjoyed
creating canvas paintings and cherished his pets, Lucy, Enzo, Ava,
Link, and Mia.
Paul will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 44 years,
Linda Vautour; his children, Maurice Vautour (Tina) of St. Louis, Marc
Vautour of Miramichi and Simonne Vautour (Paul) of St. Louis; his
grandchildren, Katelyn, Trinity and Jacob; his brother, Claude Vautour
(Anne-Marie) of St. Louis; as well as by many nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents, Paul was predeceased by three siblings,
Diane Richard, Roger Vautour and Donald Vautour.
As per Paul’s wishes, there will be no Funeral
Mass. Visitations will be held at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis,
on Monday,September 9, 2024, from 2:00-4:00 pm and from 7:00 until
Prayers at 8:30 pm.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the
Dr. George-L.-Dumont Oncology Team and Dr. Patrice Landry for their
exceptional care and support during Paul’s
stay.
