ST-IGNACE-NB, Mario Richard 48, of St-Ignace passed away on Wednesday,
September 18, 2024 as the result of a motor vehicle accident. Born in Ste-
Anne-de-Kent, he was the son of the late Jean-Marie Richard and Andrea (Robichaud) Richard.

Mario dedicated almost 28 years of his life as a truck driver where he spent
most of his career hauling wood. He also loved drinking a cold Coors Light and
spending his Sunday afternoon with his wife Anita talking about his recent
hauls and showing her his next ones.

Mario will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 28 years, Anita (Chevarie)
Richard; three sons, Justin Richard (Josée) of Collette, Marc Richard (Anika) of
Shediac, Samuel Richard (Kayla) of St-Louis; his daughter, Julie-Pier Richard
of St-Ignace; three grandchildren, Colton, Marie-Ève and Annabelle.
He is also survived by his mother Andréa (Robichaud) Richard of St-Ignace; one
brother, Serge Richard (Ginette) of Rogersville; Goddaughter, Chloé and many
nieces and nephews,

He was predeceased by his father, Jean-Marie Richard.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 7-9 pm, Friday 2:00 pm at Thompson's Memorial Home. Saint-Louis-de-Kent, until
departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday,
September 27, 2024 at 4:00pm at the St-Ignace de Loyola Roman Catholic Church in St-
Ignace. Donations in Mario’s memory may be made to the family.
