POINTE-SAPIN, NB – It is with extreme sadness that the family announces the passing of Serge Robichaud, 53, of Pointe-Sapin, NB, on Monday, October 14, 2024, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital due to the result of a fishing boat accident. Born in Montreal, Quebec, he was the son of the late Alexandre Robichaud and the late Claudine (Savoie) Robichaud.

Serge will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 17 years, Mia (Hebert) Robichaud of Pointe-Sapin; his daughter, Angelica Hebert (Samuel) of Dieppe; and his very special grandson, Luca who always called him Pépère Homard.

Serge is also survived by two sisters, Mireille Robichaud of Pointe-Sapin and Sophie Robichaud (Brian) of Scoudouc; two brothers, Michel Robichaud (Pierrette) of Pointe-Sapin and Julien Robichaud (Tammy) of St. Ignace; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis, on Monday, October 28, 2024, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, and Tuesday beginning at 9:00 am until the time of the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at 11:00 am, at the Saint-Louis-des-Français Roman Catholic Church in Saint-Louis-de-Kent.

Donations in Serge’s memory may be made to the family and would be greatly appreciated.
