Antoine Daigle (UPDATED)
1936-2024
POINTE-SAPIN, NB – Antoine Daigle, 88, of Pointe-Sapin passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital in Ste-Anne-de-Kent on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, following a short illness. Born in Pointe-Sapin, he was the son of the late Victor Daigle and late Lucie (Daigle) Daigle. Before retiring, Antoine was a lobster boat captain. He loved all types of fishing, hunting moose and playing cards with his friends.
Antoine will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 60 years, Jeanne (Daigle) Daigle of Pointe-Sapin; one daughter, Joanne Musson (Steve) of St. Louis; one son, Denis Daigle (Céline) of Pointe-Sapin and two very special grandsons, Ryan and Simon.
He is also survived by two sisters, Robéa Carter (late Donald) of Hampton, NB, Victorine Daigle of Ottawa; three brothers, Rhéal Daigle, Léo-Paul Daigle (Alma), Serge Daigle (Muriel) all from Pointe-Sapin; three-sisters-in-law, Valdine Daigle and Yvette Daigle, both of Pointe-Sapin and Anita Daigle of Baie Ste-Anne as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by four sisters, Marie, Elodie, May, Lauza and three brothers, Omer, Elphege and Émile.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 31, 2025, from 9:00AM until time of the Funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00AM at Thompson Funeral Home in Richibucto.
