Baie-Ste-Anne, NB – It
is with profound sadness that the family of Bernadette
"Dette" Martin announces her passing
on August 21, 2025, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of
72. Born in Baie-Ste-Anne, she was the beloved daughter of the late
Félix and late Victorine Martin.
She was well known for loving nature and her sense of humour.
She found joy in playing bingo, going for walks, dancing, listening to
music, and spending time with her dog Daisy.
Bernadette is survived by three sisters; Léotine
McIntyre (late Adrien) of Baie-Ste-Anne, Véronique
Robichaud (late Normand) of Pointe-Sapin and Joanne Robichaud
(Normand), as well as one brother, Jerry Martin (Neva). She also
leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family, and close friends
who will miss her dearly.
In addition to her parents, Dette was predeceased by four
sisters; Élodie MacDonnell, Elzéa Martin,
Rosilda Robichaud and Jeannine Martin; four brothers, Félix
Martin, Jean-Paul Martin, Albert Martin and baby
Dominique.
Visitation will be held at the Ste-Anne Catholic Church in
Baie-Ste-Anne on Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 2:00 – 4:00
& 7:00 – 9:00 pm, as well as Friday morning from
9:00 until time of service. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on
Friday, August 29, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Eglise
Baie-Ste-Anne.
Bernadette will be fondly remembered, and forever
missed.
