ELSIPOGTOG, NB - It is with great sadness that the family of
Charles Sock, 66, of Elsipogtog First Nation, announce his sudden
passing at his home on the evening of September 26th,
2025.
Charlie was born in Moncton, NB, to the late Larry and Susan
(Levi) Sock. Though he started with a high school diploma, Charlie
embodied lifelong learning and obtained a plethora of courses and
certificates throughout his 48 years of service to the maintenance and
infrastructure of Elsipogtog First Nation.
Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Serena
Mae (Clair) Sock; his children, Brennan (Georgina), Tricia (Clement),
and Tristan (Katrina); his grandchildren, Brandon, Dylan, Sharlee,
Archie, Cierra, Emerald, Willow, Shea-Anne, Serena and Regina; his
great-grandchildren, River, Kaylan, Denayah, Loeya, Cooper, Dexter,
Violet, Akyrah, Eli, Skylar and Benson; his siblings Lee Ann Sock
(Mark), Anita Joseph (Peter), Madeline Ward (late Roy), Lorna Soloman,
Jake Sock (Geraldine), Harold Sock (Diane), Leon Sock (Carol), Gerald
Sock (late Pauline), Alfred Sock (Linda); and his many nieces,
nephews, and friends.
Charlie was predeceased by his parents, Larry and Susan Sock;
his son, Trevor; his siblings Stanley (late Shirley), Howard (Lulu),
Levi (Dolores), Harry (late Eva), Margaret (late Fred), and Patty
(late John).
The wake will be held at Charlie's home, 8 Ball Park Street,
in Elsipogtog, beginning at 3:00 PM on Thursday, October 2nd, 2025,
until the time of the service. A Celebration of Life will be held on
Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 10:30 AM at the St. Anne's Roman
Catholic Church, Elsipogtog, NB.
