SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB – It is with deep sadness that the family of Marie Adelina (Martin) Cormier announce her sudden passing on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on March 31, 1952 in Rexton, she was the daughter of the late Edgar Martin and late Emerise (Vautour) Martin.
Adelina had a deep love for the outdoors and could often be found embracing nature, whether camping under the stars, tending to her vibrant flower beds, or nurturing her cherished patio garden in earlier years. She also delighted in the simple joys of life, like the laughter and camaraderie of a good game of bingo. Above all, Adelina was a devoted wife, a nurturing mother, a proud grandmother and great-grandmother, whose warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Adelina will be fondly missed by her loving husband of 54 years, Joseph Cormier; her son, Denis Cormier (Angela) of Richibucto; her sisters, Denise Fontaine (late Alcide) of Richibouctou-Village and Paulette Martin (Guy) of Saint-Louis; her brothers, Normand Martin (Murielle) of Saint-Louis, Bernard Martin (Sharon) of Kouchibouguac, and André Martin (Sylvie) of Saint-Ignace; her grandson, Brandon (Hanna); her great-granddaughter Elodie; as well as her many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
As per Adelina’s wishes, there will be no visitation or Funeral Mass. A graveside service will be announced at a later date.
Arrangements are in the professional care of Thompson’s Funeral Home in Richibucto, NB (506-523-4252).
