ELSIPOGTOG, NB – It is with heavy hearts that the family of Joseph Micheal Augustine "Joe Mike Ok", announce his passing on Monday, June 15, 2026, at his residence. Born in Elsipogtog, he was the son of the late Peter Tom Augustine and the late Mary (Clement) Augustine.

Joe Mike was a skilled boxer in his younger years and a talented self-taught musician who played the guitar, accordion, and harmonica. He loved sharing stories, especially memories from his youth, and enjoyed taking leisurely drives. If you saw a car rolling by at 20 km/h, chances are Joe Mike was behind the wheel. He loved his family deeply and cherished spending time with family and friends. Known for his generosity, support, and kind heart, he always made sure those he loved were cared for. His humility shined through in his favourite saying: "Don’t thank me, thank the Lord!"
