RICHIBUCTO, NB – It is with heavy hearts that the family of Adelard Mazerolle, 89, of Richibucto announce his passing on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at his residence. Born on November 18, 1936, he was the son of the late Amedée Mazerolle and the late Bella (Thibodeau) Mazerolle. Adelard worked as a fisheries officer before his well-deserved retirement.

Adelard leaves to mourn his beloved wife of 65 years, Irene Mazerolle of Richibucto; his daughters, Marie Mazerolle of Richibucto, Bernice Mazerolle of Richibucto and Bernadette Mazerolle (Steve) of Ontario; his son, Arnold Mazerolle (late Gabrielle) of Richibucto; his sisters, Anna Curwin (Raymond) of Richibucto, Carol McKinnon of Richibucto, Paulette Hughes (Luc) of Saint-Ignace; his brothers, Tilmon Vautour of Richibucto, Edgar Vautour (Heidi) of Richibucto, Levi Vautour (Linda) of Richibucto, Amadée Vautour (Yvonne) of Richibucto and Raymond Vautour (Jeanne) of Saint-Louis; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Along with his parents, Adelard was predeceased by his sister, Henrietta.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
