Elsipogtog, N.B. – It is with deep
sorrow and sadness that the family of Lee Francis announces his sudden
passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on June 17, 2026, at the
age of 43. He was born in Moncton, N.B., on May 1, 1983. He was the
son of Arnold Francis and the late Charlotte (Milliea)
Francis.
Lee will be deeply missed by his family, friends,
and the entire community of Elsipogtog. He was a beacon of light,
always happy, with a huge heart and a laughter that could brighten
anyone's day. He was loved by many, and he loved deeply in return. A
loving son, a devoted brother, a caring uncle, a cherished nephew, a
beloved cousin, a loyal friend, and a true jokester, Lee held a
special place in the hearts of all who knew him. Nothing brought Lee
more happiness than gathering with family at his Miigitjoo Lucy's
house. Lee's memory will live on through the love he shared and the
many lives he touched.
Lee will be sadly missed by his father, Arnold
Francis of Rexton; his brothers, Barry Francis (Rachelle) of
Richibucto and Larry Francis (Shawnna) of Aldouane ; his nieces and
nephews, Dorion, Tariq, Riley, Larrah, Lucas, Hailey, and Croix; his
godson, Keith Milliea; as well as by many aunts, uncles, and
cousins.
Along with his mother, Lee was predeceased by his
brother, Raymond.
The wake will be held at the home of his good
friends, Rena and Harvey. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, June 23,
2026, at 2:00 p.m. at 58 Oak Street, Elsipogtog, until the time of the
funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, June 25, 2026,
at 1:00 p.m. at Sainte-Anne Roman Catholic Church,
Elsipogtog.
