It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Germaine Daigle, 87, formerly of Acadieville, who passed away peacefully on June 21, 2026, at the Rexton Lions Nursing Home in Rexton, NB.

Germaine will be deeply missed by her daughters Bernice Hebert (Maurice) of Saint‑Charles, NB, and Norma Miner (Kevin) of Indian Island, NB; her grandchildren Andrea, Maurice Jr., Jillian (Taylor), and Nicolas; and her great‑grandchildren Myrabelle, Hunter, Berkeley, and Bennett. She is also survived by her sisters Anna Cormier and Marie LeBlanc (Yvon).

She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Daigle (1975); her sisters Bertha, Eva, Thérèse, Eliza, Gemma, and Florine; her brothers Nazaire, Irénée, and Adélard; as well as her sisters‑in‑law and brothers‑in‑law from both her family and her husband’s. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will remember her with affection.

Germaine devoted countless hours to volunteer work at the Centre Communautaire d’Acadieville and the Club d’Âge d’Or d’Acadieville, where she formed many cherished friendships. She will be remembered for her kindness, her strength, and the love she shared so generously throughout her life. Her memory will forever remain in our hearts.

Visitation will be held at Thompson Funeral Home in Richibucto, NB, on Thursday, June 25, 2026, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., and on Friday, June 26, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the procession to Immaculate Conception Church in Acadieville, NB, where the funeral will take place at 4:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Mental Health Services or the Alzheimer Society in her memory.
