SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB – It is with heavy hearts that the family of Claude Doucet, 74, of Saint-Louis-de-Kent announce his passing on Thursday, July 16, 2026. Born in Petite Aldouane, he was the son of the late Albert Doucet and the late Léonie (Bastarache) Doucet.

Claude found great joy in the music of Stompin’ Tom Connors and could often be heard happily singing along. He treasured time spent with family and friends, and always looked forward to social outings to Tim Hortons. Claude will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Claude leaves to mourn his sisters, Polyane Daigle of Moncton and Thérèse Beaulieu of Québec; his brother, Ronald Doucet (Léona) of St. Andre-Leblanc; as well as his extended family and friends.

Along with his parents, Claude was predeceased by his sister, Yvonne; and his brothers, Emile, Alban, Léo, Yvon and Norman.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 8:30 AM until time of service, at Thompson’s Funeral Home in Richibucto. A chapel service will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 10:30 AM at Thompson’s Funeral Home in Richibucto. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Claude may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
