ELSIPOGTOG, NB – It is with heavy hearts that the family of Mason Augustine, 41, of Elsipogtog, announce his passing on Saturday, July 18, 2026. Born in Moncton, he was the son of Karl Augustine and Zelda Paul.

Mason was a simple, kind-hearted man whose gentle spirit and deep empathy touched everyone who knew him. He found peace in nature and loved spending time in the woods. Above all, he cherished every moment spent with his beloved daughters, Madison Lou and Madeline, who were his greatest pride and joy. He also loved spending time with family and friends, creating memories with those who meant the most to him. Mason will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Mason leaves to mourn his parents, Karl Augustine and Zelda Paul; his beloved daughters, Madison Lou Augustine and Madeline Augustine; his sister, Zabrina Augustine (Josh) of Elsipogtog; his brothers, Karl Augustine Jr, Zachariah Augustine and Joe Pat Augustine, all of Elsipogtog; as well as his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Mason was predeceased by his partner, Jennifer Peters.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 52 Sunset Drive in Elsipogtog, from 2:00 PM until departure for the service. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 27, 2026, at 10:30 AM at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church in Elsipogtog.
