ST. LOUIS DE KENT, NB – Lionel Martin 86, of St. Louis de Kent passed away peacefully at the Villa Maria, St. Louis de Kent on Wednesday, December 22nd, 2010. Born in Baie-Ste-Anne he was the son of the late Jack and Late Tonia (Goguen) Martin. Before retiring Lionel worked as a fisherman. He attended St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church, St. Louis de Kent.
Lionel will be sadly missed by two daughters; Rosella Comeau (Wayne) of St. Louis, Léa Martin (Denis) of St. Louis de Kent, one son; Antoine Martin (Noëlla) of St. Louis de Kent, seven grandchildren; three sisters; Rosalie Martin of Baie-Ste-Anne, Veterine Johnson (Roger) of Baie-Ste-Anne, Emilia Wedge (Roy) of Baie-Ste-Anne, one brother; Benoit (late Rosé) of Shediac, many nieces and nephews.
Other than by his parents Lionel was predeceased by his wife; Albertine, four sisters; Rosanna, Aline, Beatrice, Marie and one brother; Charlie.
Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent with visitation on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9, Friday at 9:00 am until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 24th, 2010 at 11:00 am, St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church, St. Louis de Kent. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
