Archie Daigle

KOUCHIBOUGUAC, NB – Archie Daigle 84, of Kouchibouguac passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent on Wednesday, September 21^st, 2011.  Born in Claire Fontaine, he was the son of the late Joseph Daigle and late Olive Benoit.  Before retiring, Archie was employed as fisherman and woodsman.  He attended St. Louis de Français Roman Catholic Church, St. Louis de Kent.

Archie will be sadly missed by his three sons; Roger Daigle (Mary Beth) of Montreal, Jean-Claude Daigle (Jeannita) of Acadieville, Gilles Daigle (Loraine) of Rogersville, nine grandchildren; Joanne, Sarah-Jane, Jean-Gilles, Nicole, Christian, Renée, Christelle, Veronique, Alicia, special friend; Gladys McIntyre, three great grandchildren; Jean-Michel, Jeremie, Jacob, one sister; Catherine Hebert (late Drésil) of St. Louis and one daughter-in-law; Denise Daigle of Kouchibouguac, several nieces and nephews.

Archie was predeceased by his wife; Sara (Daigle) Daigle, one son; Gabriel Daigle, three sisters; Louise, Claira, Elianne and one brother; Frederic.

Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent on Thursday from 7:00 – 9:00 pm, Friday at 2:00 pm until departure for the funeral.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 23^rd, 2011 at 4:00 pm, St. Louis de Français Roman Catholic Church, St. Louis de Kent.  Interment will be in the Claire Fontaine Cemetery.  Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
