ST-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB - Wanita Atkinson 66, of St. Louis de Kent passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton on Thursday, June 26, 2014.  Born in Kouchibouguac, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and late Sarah Kelly.

Wanita will be sadly missed by her daughter, Lorna Atkinson (Richard) of Moncton; two sons, Allan Kelly of St. Ignace, Sheldon Atkinson of Shediac; five grandchildren, Max, Sarah, Samuel, Ashley and Annick. 

She is also survived by three brothers, Thomas Kelly (Helen), Walter Kelly (Alphonsine), Joseph "Eldon"  Kelly (Aline) and many nieces and nephews. 

She was predeceased by her husband, Gerard and one sister, Caroline. 

Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and Monday at 2:00 pm until departure for the funeral.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 30, 2014 at 4:00 pm, St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church, St. Louis de Kent.  Interment will be in St. James Roman Catholic Cemetery, Kouchibouguac.  Donations in Wanita's memory may be made to the L'AubergeMgr Henri Cormier Lodge and would be appreciated by the family.
